We’ve been with KBS since 2021 when we had our complete heating and cooling HVAC system replaced. Service Tech Chris S just completed the annual Fall furnace maintenance and did a great job. From the time he arrived until the time he departed he was on time, professional, knowledgeable, courteous and helpful with a potential problem. He answered all our questions, performed the maintenance and tested the furnace to verify there was no problem and that it operated efficiently. Chris is one of your good guys and a good representative of your company. It gives us great peace of mind when working with KBS and great people like Chris S. Thanks.

Kermit B Schulz is one of the few trustworthy and knowledgeable vendors I have ever worked with for my home. Brian & his team were able to diagnose our tricky HVAC issues in a less than an hour (something two other vendors couldn't do in their five total visits), put in a temporary fix to get us through a heatwave, and eventually completed a big job to remedy our previously poorly installed system. This is a family-run business, and every team member really knows their stuff. Pricing was transparent and fair, and I always felt informed throughout the process. I cannot recommend KBS enough!

My HVAC was going on 25 years. Replace or not replace? KBS had been servicing my old system for about a decade and I was already acquainted with the company's high professional standards. So we got in touch. When I learned that KBS contracts with Trane HVAC Company and then it appeared that Trane had recently replaced the airconditioning system in the train Chunnel to effect Europe's largest airconditioning system, I became convinced that it was time for my humble basement to move up in the world, to set its sights higher. I wanted my basement to get the respect that it deserves. KBS expertly took care of the engineering (maneuvering around July 4). Owner Chip dropped by for a critical intervention when the condo layout posed some unique challenges. Many thanks also to Mike and Sergei. I am very happy with the result. When I go down my basement I now blow my train whistle and go to choo choo choo (not really).

The entire team was amazing. Dennis came out to evaluate our systems as we needed a new furnace and AC. He asked what I was looking for. There was no pressure to buy anything. I was not interested in a dual fuel pump. He gave me several different quotes. When the team came out, they were so professional and kind. They installed everything in 2 day. The electrician unbeknownst to me had been my electrician in the past. The plumber was awesome and I now have a new plumber. Chip was kind and knew my spouse from many years ago. His sister who's name I forget was equally as kind. It felt like a family reunion. I can't say enough about this company! Just awesome! Keep it local. And thanks again.

I had them install a Mitsubishi mini split in one room of my house. I talked to a few companies and they had the best pricing and were the only one that performed a calculation to determine the best size for my installation. Everyone else quoted systems 2-3 times larger which didn't make any sense. The installation was quick and they kept things clean and protected even though it started pouring out. Brian was really friendly and kept me informed throughout and walked me through the system once it was up and running.

I used this company for the first time after someone recommended them. Our furnace pipe had burst the night before we were about to get some very cold temperatures. They came out that night and found a way to get the pressurizer we needed and extra part. The employees who serviced us couldn't be more pleasant and professional. That sincerely wanted to try to help us. And we appreciate it. And despite the bit of a crisis we were in, KBS didn't take advantage of us with super high pricing. They came back the following week to give us very overdue service (our fault) and we will be using them annually form this point further.
